Serving the villages of Over and Nether Compton the Hall stands in the conservation area of the picturesque village of Nether Compton, West Dorset, close to the 13th Century church of St. Nicholas. It stands in its own grounds with an adjoining lawned area and a private car park.
The hall, originally a tithe barn, is at the heart of the community hosting a variety of events. It is available for both regular use by community groups and private hire for events such as weddings, family parties etc. For more information about the hall facilities and hire terms please visit Hall bookings.
Do join us on Saturday 2nd December from 10.30am for our Christmas coffee morning. There will be warm sausage rolls and mince pies on offer as well as 2 raffles with great prizes. We'll also have our 100 club quarterly draw.
Christmas drinks are back! On Friday 8th December we'll be hosting a Christmas drinks party from 6.30pm with a free glass of bubbles on entry. There will be canapes and a pay bar thereafter. Come and get some Christmas cheer!
The village hall is fully open following completion of the renovation works. We now have a lovely new kitchen, renovated toilets and indoor storage - do come and have a look!
